Ingredients
- 5 granny Smith apples, peeled, core and sliced
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- juice of 2 oranges
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- ✸ vanilla ice cream
For the topping
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 150g almond flour or coconut flour
- 3 eggs whites, whisked
- Spoonfed Foods Ham jam
Let's start cooking
Preheat the over to 180 degrees.
Place apples, cinnamon, orange juices and maple syrup in a large bowl and mix together until the apple pieces are thoroughly coated. Tip the fruit into a baking tin and bake for 35 minutes.
Meanwhile, place all the toppings ingredients in a bowl and mix together thoroughly.
When the apple is cooked, spread the topping mix evenly over the top, then return to the oven and bake for a further 30 minutes. Serve slightly warm.
Top up with Spoonfed Foods Ham jam.
Serve with ice cream if desired.
